Statement: To facilitate instruction of etiquette, protocol and social graces to
provide clients with vital tools, knowledge and skills to champion the advancement of civility,
integrity and excellence in spiritual, personal and professional lives.
The Institute of Decorum... ...is a Houston based national and
international etiquette and protocol training institution established by Kale Miller-Cameron
and Tamara Hensarling Paul. Ms. Cameron and Ms. Paul received the highest level of
etiquette training and were titled, “Certified Etiquette Instructors”, through the Academy of
Etiquette and Protocol (A.E.P.) in Orlando, Florida. Each instructor is certified to
teach Business Etiquette, American, Continental and International Dining Etiquette, Social
Etiquette and Protocol for children, adolescents and adults as well as, Tea
Etiquette.
The etiquette school is a mobile company, traveling throughout the world. Since manners,
politeness and hospitality never go out of style and are recognized worldwide, the Institute of
Decorum is committed to bring back the art of civility and social graces. The school
offers training in decorum for children, teens, adults, brides, business
professionals/executives. Classes are presented at area hotels, conference centers,
restaurants, country clubs, schools, churches and local establishments. The institute
provides a variety of program options including: small groups, seminars, private
coaching, after school programs, local community organizations, home-school groups and summer
and holiday camps. The classes all have the same common goal, to heighten the importance
and awareness of etiquette skills, refine social skills, enhance personal images and bolster
confidence and authority, which are essential for true personal, business and social
success.
Instructors coach students ages five to adult to refine and polish skills in the area of social
and business etiquette as well as dining with social graces. Instructors offer unique
teaching styles, keeping classes lively, upbeat and enjoyable. The school offers group
classes and private one-on-one etiquette coaching. Participants engage in real life
scenarios, open discussions and role-playing; allowing them to practice and become comfortable
with their new found skills and knowledge of topics such as:

Business Tea, Holiday, Dating and Gentleman’s Etiquette, as well as Bar and Bat Mitzvah
and LaQuinceanera Protocol.
We teach Godly values, morals and principals. However, we
teach to all religions, races and creeds. In each of these programs, we are able to
integrate Biblical teachings. Personalized Biblical Scripture themed programs are
also offered. Our goal is to make decorum hold no
barriers.
While some
might perceive a decorum school as being a charm school for girls, the Institute of Decorum
teaches both males and females in the most current manners for today. Unfortunately, good
manners are not inherited. Manners are acquired by those who desire to improve
themselves. Good manners are based on consideration, respect and courtesy towards
others. Everyone desires to be treated with respect and courtesy. Individuals
skilled in manners stand out and shine. Simply put, politeness is noticed and pays
off. “Equipping people with these critical skills and knowledge will prove to give a
person an advantage not only in their personal but professional life,” stated Ms.
Cameron. Instructors have approximately 34 years of combined teaching
experience.
